Simran joined our corporate commercial team in 2022. She maintains a real estate practice with a focus on private lending, commercial leasing, land purchase agreements, and First Nations economic development and financing. Her practice is dedicated to supporting medium and large-scale enterprises, real estate developers, and private lenders in navigating the complexities of the corporate and commercial landscape.

With a robust background in business and finance, Simran brings a practical and results-oriented approach to every file. She has extensive experience in real estate development, having advised clients on matters ranging from commercial leasing and condominium projects to intricate land purchase agreements. Additionally, her expertise in First Nations economic development has helped facilitate impactful collaborations and financing initiatives that drive growth and sustainability in Indigenous communities.

Simran’s journey into law began with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Regina, followed by experience in the banking and finance industry. She completed her articles with a national firm before joining a boutique business law practice in south Edmonton, where she has established a reputation for her strategic insight and dedication to client service. Her client base includes real estate investors, developers, small business owners, and entrepreneurs, who require support both on and off Reserve lands.

Rooted in her Saskatchewan upbringing, Simran attributes her strong work ethic to her entrepreneurial parents, whose resilience and dedication continue to inspire her approach to client care. She is committed to providing tailored legal solutions that meet the unique needs of each client, delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Outside the office, Simran is a proud mother of two and an active member of the Edmonton community. When she’s not cheering on her kids at the ice rink or soccer stadium, she serves on the board of the ACTLA Women’s Legal Forum, supporting the professional and personal growth of female lawyers in Alberta.
