With more than 23 years of legal experience, Elizabeth has built her practice on strong advocacy, practical advice, and a commitment to putting her clients first. Since being called to the Alberta Bar in 2003, she has represented clients across a broad range of legal matters, always with the goal of achieving thoughtful, effective, and results-driven solutions.
Having articled with Biamonte LLP her work has included motor vehicle accident claims, fatal accident claims, wrongful death actions, insurance disputes, long-term disability claims, landlord and tenant disputes, real estate matters, estate administration, estate litigation, employment law, general civil litigation, sexual assault claims, historical sexual assault claims, and general advisory work.
She also has significant experience acting for survivors of Indian Residential Schools, providing compassionate and dedicated representation in highly sensitive matters. She believes in leaving no stone unturned and it’s not uncommon for her to take on challenging files that others may decline. Her approach is client-focused and grounded in the belief that every client deserves strong advocacy.
She earned her law degree in 2002 at the University of Alberta where was an active member of the school volunteer community as Director of the famous “Law Show”. She has remained actively involved in both the legal profession and the broader community. Her volunteer work has included serving as a board member for Water Ski Wakeboard Alberta, the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, the St. Thomas More Lawyers’ Guild and the Women’s Legal Forum. She is also a Level 1 Water Ski Official and Level 1 Official with Alpine Alberta.
When she is not advocating for her clients, you can find her on the water or on the ski hill supporting her husband and young son, both of whom are competitive athletes.
