Terry Antonello is a partner whose practice focuses on Aboriginal, Banking and Commercial Lending, Corporate, Real Estate and Italian law.
Terry is highly experienced in the Aboriginal law sector. He acts on behalf of First Nations, Mètis and other Aboriginal interests in relation to a broad range of matters including bylaws, corporate, elections, financing, governance and joint ventures with the private sector.
Terry also practices extensively in banking and commercial lending. He acts for Lenders and Borrowers and provides general banking advice on all matters including corporate lending, construction financing, acquisition financing, debt restructuring and real estate financing.
In his corporate law practice he advises clients on corporate structures, limited partnerships, corporate acquisitions and corporate governance. His corporate governance advice includes assisting corporations and directors on matters involving shareholder rights, agreements, disputes, and director’s duties and liabilities, structure and compliance.
Terry’s real estate practice includes all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, construction and commercial leasing. He also acts on behalf of builders with respect to sales, construction contracts, land acquisition and financing.
Terry acts on behalf of the Government of Italy in Western Canada as well as advising individuals and corporations who have personal and business matters in Italy. He is fluent in Italian and was awarded a knighthood for his service to the Italian Republic.
