Richard’s practice emphasis is in corporate and commercial transactions, including incorporations, joint ventures, limited and general partnerships; purchase, sale, lease, and mortgaging of commercial and corporate property; corporate reorganizations; and business succession planning.
Richard also devotes a significant portion of his practice to real property law, including purchase, sale, mortgaging, and leasing of real property in Alberta.
Estate planning law is another important part of Richard’s practice, including the preparation of wills and family trusts, personal directives, and enduring powers of attorneys.
Richard has acted as counsel on both civil and criminal litigation actions in all levels of the judiciary in Alberta, including the Supreme Court of Canada.
Fluent in Italian.
